Tarzan’s
New Chair
One day, Jane decided to re-decorate the treehouse. She called
upon the world famous Sharon Barker design lab in Thorndale to
create a new vision for the tree house.
Once done, she proceeded to Schueneman’s furniture and upholstery
where four generations of Schu’s continue to do their quality
work. Gil, Kim, and Maria covered the chair in animal friendly
vinyl leather and Ian and Keith refinished in exterior paint least
the tree house leaked. Tarzan was provided with a new pit helmet
and chin strap to cover an emerging bald spot, drum for getting
Jane’s attention and a much larger loin cloth/afghan since
he was known to still swing on occasion …. through the jungle
that is.
The chair was so comfortable that once again Schueneman’s
had to make another chair, for Jane.
The moral of the story: There is no such thing as one for two
or two for one when it comes to an original by Barker Design and
Schueneman’s of London - African Subsidiary Inc. All others
will be mere imitations. It’s made in Canada, eh?
