On Saturday, May 5th, Masonville Place closed its doors to the public at 5:00 p.m. and then reopened to Community Living London and "A Chair Affair" reception guests. The closing finale for the week-long fundraiser hosted approximately 260 guests who eagerly watched as 15 chairs (an elegant and creative mixture of unique, celebrity and Muskoka) were featured in a live auction conducted by Bill Brady.

The "Chair Affair" reception proved to be an exciting end to the week-long public silent auction which had featured an incredible selection of 69 chairs that were artistically breathtaking and truly one- of- a kind. No two chairs were alike and, accordingly to each artist's biography, each had a story of its own to tell.
